  • Wide Pressure Range (0–600 MPa): Flexible adjustment without frequent recalibration, suitable for R&D of fruits, beverages, ready-to-eat meals, and other food products.
  • Dual Operation System: Button + touchscreen control with real-time pressure display for simple operation, reducing errors and allowing researchers to focus on process innovation.
  • Compact & Low-Noise Design: Small footprint and quiet operation suitable for laboratory environments; water-cycle energy-saving system reduces energy consumption costs.
  • Modular Configuration: Optional sample testing module simplifies workflows and enhances research efficiency.

Working Principle

High Pressure Processing (HPP), also known as high-pressure sterilization or cold pasteurization, works by applying 400–600 MPa of hydrostatic pressure to food in a low-temperature environment of 5°C–20°C, using water as the medium, achieving efficient sterilization while preserving freshness.

5 Steps to High-Pressure Processing

1.Pressure Generation: High pressure is generated by an intensifier pump, typically operating in the range of 400–600 MPa (approximately 4000–6000 bar / 58,000–87,000 psi).

2.Pressure Transmission: Pressure is transmitted to the product through a medium, usually water.

3.Preparation Stage: The product is sealed in packaging and placed into the high-pressure vessel.

4.Pressure Application: The pump raises the pressure inside the vessel, applying and holding pressure on the product for a specified time.

5.Pressure Release: After processing, pressure is released in a controlled manner, completing the cycle.

FAQ

  • What is HPP technology?

HPP exposes food to high pressure via a water medium for several minutes at low or room temperature, effectively killing bacteria, viruses, yeast, and mold.

  • What are the benefits of HPP technology?

HPP is globally recognized as an antimicrobial process that inactivates pathogens and slows spoilage bacteria, extending refrigerated shelf life 2–10 times. It preserves nutrients and bioactive compounds, maintaining vitamins and natural quality. This technology allows manufacturers to reduce chemical preservatives and lower food safety testing frequency.

  • In which fields can HPP technology be applied?

Applicable across multiple food processing scenarios, including juices and beverages, meat products, pet food, seafood, infant formula, dairy, as well as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

  • What is the difference between HPP technology and traditional sterilization methods?

Traditional sterilization methods (e.g., thermal processing) may damage nutrients and flavor, while high-pressure sterilization is performed at low temperatures, better preserving product quality, enhancing taste, and retaining natural nutrition that heat treatment cannot achieve.

  • How do we differ from other HPP equipment manufacturers?

We are more than an equipment supplier — we are a strategic partner. We actively support our clients' R&D processes with full lifecycle services, working alongside them to solve technical challenges and drive product performance and industrialization breakthroughs.
